The tomato alfredo fettuccine was incredible, as well as the trifecta. I didnt care much for the cucumber cooler cocktail but the food and service were great and we would love to come back!
They did a nice job updating the bar area. I met a friend after work for drinks and appetizers. We had fried zucchini, stuff mushrooms and calamari. Portions were a little smaller than I expected. Stuufed mushrooms and zucchini were really good. The calamari would have been better with more calamari and less onions and peppers.
We got a number of different orders to go. I have to say I was disappointed in some recent changes that were made. First, we used to get salads with all of the entrées. We didn’t receive any salads and were told that they don’t do that anymore with the orders. In addition, the restaurant charged $2.00 for “packaging fee”. Sorry but this comes across as very cheap. This is also knew. They have cut back on the portions, and we probably will not be back. For the same price, we will end up at Bella Costa. We should not have been charged a packaging fee for an order to go!
I just picked up an order to go. A $2.00 packaging fee for a takeout order, are you kidding me ?? Prices are high enough without charging you extra to take dinner home.
Prices have gone way up. At least 26% for entrees in the last year. Even the sandwiches have gone up. It used to be a friendly, neighborhood, reasonably priced place but now you must think twice before going.
I've been doing to this spot with my family ever year for New Year's Eve.
They recently renovated and now they vibe matches the food. Great spot.
Sorry. Food was not good. Lacantina is much much better. I could hardly eat my colognes.
My husband's veal cathitorri not good. Wait staff wonderful. Atmosphere awesome. Bar very nice.
Disappointed with our meals. Not tasty at all. No more salad included with meals. Expensive. Fried ravioli and veal Marsala were the worst. No flavor. We have been regular customers for years. We won’t be. back
I have no idea why there is so many good reviews for this place. Either they are paid reviews or people in wayland have no idea what Italian food is.
By far one of the worst experiences I've had in the area. I even made a comment to our waitress who basically shrugged off what I was saying as if nothing was wrong. I asked if I received a vegetarian lasagna as I basically had no meat and the "ricotta" cheese was more like mayo and sour cream.
"Big portions"? I had a dish of all sauce. I cut into it and didn't touch anything. The second slice was the tiny square of 3 noodles I received with fake cheese and no meat. Before I ordered I asked if pasta came with the dinner dishes ans told yes. After I received my dish I asked if there was pasta. She said not for this dish.
If you like dark, zero flavor, rustic sauce with fake cheese you'll love this place. "North end" made is not even close. Sorry.
Regardless. This place is not worth the 20$ plates. Especially if the waitress never came around to ask if everything is okay or if we wanted second drinks.
Avoid this place. Save your money.
